Industrial micro computer

Industrial Micro Computer

Our IMC 700 and IMC 2000 series are freely programmable controllers that constitute the controls of many machines.
These controllers are more flexible to configure and program then of the shelf PLC's. This standard product can be specifically configured for our customers. This results in lower cost and higher freedom to design.

One client that uses our IMC series is Vitronics soltec. The fact that Vitronics Soltec is supplier of the most advanced soldering equipment for electronics makes us even more proud to be their supplier.

Sharp infra red sensor

Sharp infra red sensor

The Sharp sensor type GP2YA21YK is widely used low priced economical distance sensor. This sensor is mainly used for automatic towel dispensers and toilet flushing. . This sensor is however is highly sensitive to electromagnetic interference (EMI).

One of our customers intended to use this sensor in a robotic environment with heavy electrical engines and other power consumers. High EMI sensitivity caused frequent malfunctions. First solution were sought through external shielding. No adequate result was achieved. Finally we choose to redesign the print and reuse only the IR component from the SHARP sensor. The enhanced print has additional filters and multilayer internal shielding. The sensitivity to EMI is reduced to practically zero and the sensor generates a more stable signal.

Sustainable Dance Club

Sustainable Dance Club

CDS electronics developed the electronics for a dance floor that generates energy for Sustainable Dance Club . The movement of the dancing crowd is used and transferred into energy. This energy can be used to power the lights in the dance floor tiles or other equipment.

The technical challenge was to find the optimum between comfortable feeling and maximum energy generation. Other applications are being developed. For example to lighten the floors in shopping malls or sports stadiums.

Ecolution

Ecolution

The Ecolution is a heat pump, developed by Inventum.
In all houses with mechanical ventilation energy is lost through exhausting warm air . The ventilation heat pump regains the energy from the air and puts it back in the tap water or water for central heating.

CDS electronics has developed the controls for this system including hardware, system software and application software. The technical challenge was to translate the specification towards an optimal working system with maximal energy gain.
